Hill Street Tai Hwa Minced Meat Noodles

Wednesday, October 28, 2009

A bowl of minced meat mee pok tah which costs $4 appears rather unappealing. Only after sinking my teeth into the mediocre noodles did I realize that appearance can be deceiving. Extraordinarily well-cooked with a special springy consistency, the delicious noodles are well-complemented with savory chilli sauce that is exceptionally flavorful. Enjoy the mouthwatering noodles topped with generous servings of tasty minced meat, pork slices, pig's liver and meat balls.

I ordered the minced meat mee pok soup.... It was world class. The soup taste was mavelous. And I saw how the Uncle used the right amount of fire to make the meat and liver taste just right.

Good bye 85 market... Here come the Monk on the Hill BCM...

Heavenly Food

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

A young woman was packing a suitcase for a long trip.
She said to a woman who was watching her, "I'm just about finished.
I only have to put in a guidebook, a lamp, a mirror, my favorite love letters, a microscope, a telescope, a volume of fine poetry, a song book, a few biographies, a package of old letters, a sword, and a set of books I have been studying."
The onlooker gasped, "How do you intend to get all that in your suitcase? It's almost full now!"
The young woman replied, "Oh, all that won't take much room"
She then walked over to a table, picked up her Bible, placed it in the corner of her suitcase, and closed the lid.
Winking at her friend, she said, "And I even got in a loaf of living bread, too."
